about Design:Intelligent
Design:Intelligent is not an ordinary design firm. It is a collective of freelance designers based in Chicago, with experience in areas ranging from traditional print design to web development and information architecture, who have teamed up to provide their clients all the benefits of a big design firm at freelancer prices. Depending upon the project at hand, a client may work with a single designer; sometimes we'll share the work among several designers, each of whom brings his or her own talents to the table. By pooling together a wide variety of design skills and experience, Design:Intelligent is truly more than the sum of its parts.
How it works:
- Submit our "get a quote" form
- If there is a particular designer you’d like to head your project, let us know on the form; otherwise, we’ll decide amongst ourselves who is best suited to lead the project.
- The project leader will discuss with you your goals, needs, and limitations for the project.
- Based on this conversation s/he will go to the other members of the group to discuss availability and cost.
- The project leader will provide you with an initial quote and timetable.
- If you decide to work with D:I, the project leader will remain your primary contact, and coordinate any other collective members working on the project.
